Cleo, Monte, Gypsys, and Skittles' Diet:
I feed the ZuPreem AvianMaintanance Fruit Blend (cockatiel size is also for the parrots Caique sized). The fiddos also get a little bit of seed (tropical mix) every day and what I call a "Fruit-kabob". I bought a kabob at the pet store. I cut up various fruits each day and put them on the kabob for them to eat off of. All the fruits and vegetables, whether fresh, frozen, or dried, are organic. They get a little something different everyday, as I cannot put all the fruits on one kabob. :) Cleo's favorite fruits are apples (no apple seeds, the seeds are bad for the birds) and figs, favorite vegie is sweet potato. Other fruits and vegies for the kabob are strawberries, mango, pineapple, cucumber, squash, broccoli, kale, celery, carrots, oranges, kiwi, figs (dried or fresh), apricots (dried or fresh), papaya, okra, and more I cannot think of right now. Some items that I place on the cage bottom are corn on the cob, dandelion greens, pomegranates, bell peppers (cut so she can get to the seeds), and carrots with the heads still on.

At dinner time they get a little of what we are having as long as it is something like spaghetti, a little piece of chicken or pork, rice, etc. Along with that they gets some berries, or chopped up fruit, grapes, stuff that doesn't really fit on the kabob. :) If we are not eating bird-healthy that night I fix them up one of the mixes that you heat up and soften with hot water. Lately I have begun making my own mix. I buy frozen corn, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, soybeans, and broccoli. I add a little of 2 or 3 of the vegetables (say for instance corn, soy beans, and carrots) to some ground wheat (purchased at Wild oats). I also change it up by adding pasta instead of ground wheat. Some other additions include raisins, shredded coconut, dried bananas, dried pineapple, and so on.

For a quick dinner I make up cornbread in advance. I follow the recipe only I had things like pumpkin seeds, small currents, corn, crushed up dried banana, coconut, dried pineapple, sometimes a little seed. Just about anything you can think of that would be healthy and a treat for the birds. Once it is cooled off I cut it up into squares and then freeze it. When it is dinner time I through a cube for each of the fiddos into the microwave for less than a minute. You have to be sure that it is cooled off in the middle before serving so as not to burn their little tongues.

For snacks during the day I give a number of dried fruits, or some fresh banana, or any other fresh fruit. I also give them snow peas and cranberries.
